Two Blender scenes tell the Ventilencieux's story: a dark studio where hundreds of arrows materialize the airflow — converging intake at the back, collimated jet at the front — and an exploded view that suspends every part in the light before reassembling them. Two final renders at 2048 × 1080, 60 frames per second.

These videos are the product's first sales asset: they show what no photograph can — the air moving, the parts nesting into place — and they exist before the prototype leaves the printer. Short, silent and looping, they drop straight into a homepage hero, a product page, a social post or an investor slide; and because the scene stays live, changing a colour, a material or a framing takes one more render, never another shoot.

01A scene, like in cinema

A 3D render is built exactly like a film set: a backdrop (the dark studio and its glowing background), actors (the fan and its hundreds of arrows), spotlights (key and fill lights, warm against cool), a camera whose focal length and movement are directed, and a control room — the materials of every surface, the animation, then the render engine's settings.

All of it lives organized inside the Blender scene: collections per object family, trajectory rails, an 800-frame timeline and an embedded tuning script. That structure is what makes the scene directable — you adjust one parameter, not a thousand arrows one by one.

02The scene in three stages

The same scene, three ages: first the kinematics in neutral gray — only the arrows' trajectories and the camera frame matter; then materials and lights — the arrows take their colors, warm white at the intake, blue in the jet, the studio lights up; finally the realistic render — optimized colors, compute settings tuned for 2048 × 1080 at 60 frames per second.

Working in layers avoids redoing everything at each correction: the choreography is validated in seconds of gray viewport before committing hours of final rendering.
