Prototyping & manufacturing

From proof of concept to working prototype, we bring your projects to life through a range of manufacturing processes matched to your technical requirements.

What we do

Our scope of work.

A modular engagement: we can cover all or part of these areas while staying aligned with the rest of your project.

01

Rapid prototyping & POC

Fast production of study models and proofs of concept (POC) to validate shapes, ergonomics and assembly quickly.

02

3D printing

Polymer parts (FDM, SLA) with complex geometries, multi-material builds or large volumes for your working prototypes.

03

Casting & Foundry

Sand casting, investment casting or lost-PLA casting: we can produce your metal parts directly, with bespoke alloys.

04

Subcontracting management

If your project calls for specific equipment, we bring in third parties. Where needed, we handle the technical dialogue and the subcontractor relationship.

When to call us

Turning your ideas into objects, at every stage of maturity

“I now have a validated 3D model and I need a physical prototype to test and demonstrate my concept.”

We select the prototyping processes best suited to your case and deliver a working physical prototype.

“My product combines mechanics, electronics and plastic parts, but I have no way to assemble it all myself.”

We take care of component sourcing, custom part manufacturing and full system assembly, ready to use.

The Polytechnia advantage

Manufacturing handled by the people who design

Manufacturing without nasty surprises, because it was designed to be produced

With design (CAD), simulation and manufacturing under one roof, we catch and fix geometric inconsistencies before the first machine even starts.

The right process at the right cost

Because we are not tied to a single technology, we can point you impartially to the best manufacturing process (additive, machining, casting, sheet metal, thermoforming…) given your budget, your deadlines and your technical needs.

Cross-disciplinary assembly and validation

With skills spanning mechanics, electronics and firmware, we don't just put parts together: we test and validate how your whole system behaves before delivery.
